I've owned some old Fender tweed stuff with a single 8" that didn't do it for me personally (I'll be hung for that comment).Īs for a comparison between the Super 7 and the Unibox, the Super 7 is more of a baby Super 17 with a much smoother overdrive (to my ears at least, but again, I have an early Super 17.some of the newer ones might break up differently).

That being said, you can back off the volume and plug a Tele (or in the clip below, an old Guild Freshamn with a P90) into it and get a really nice clean tone.probably not as "loud" of a clean as the Super 7 but a very nice clean nonetheless.
